These are a nice size for cleaning all kinds of dishes and especially glasses. The shape of these allows me to get into the bottom of glasses really well and get the bottom inner edges. They are enough fibre to scrub well. I don’t let them sit in the water and I think that will make them last the longest. A really good choice over the toxic sponges and scrubbie sponges out there. Loving these – so far.

Amazon shipper bag). The are very flat, but quickly plump up with water. Very soft and flexible and great for washing dishes! We love them! I have seen a few small bits of food get stuck once, but with a few moments of working the scrubber back & forth, I got them out. I run it through the dishwasher at night to remove any food particles I might not see and to sanitize it. It has a small loop on the narrow end which I hook over one of the tines of the top dishwasher rack to keep it from falling through to the lower part of the dishwasher. I hope it will last a long time, but I will definitely buy these again when needed.

I love the loofa sponge and have been using the same one for a while and it still looks and smells new. BUT the other 2 from the 3-pack stored under the sink, all of a sudden have black spots, which looks like mold or mildew, but cant be bleached away and they have never been used! I’m pretty confused by this I had to throw both away, but the first of the pack is still working great!

I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but they stink up quick. I try not to use them on big chunks of food and to rinse them out when I’m done but they only last about 2 weeks before we have to switch them out. However, doo I feel better about throwing them out than a plastic or whatever other material the other ones are? yes.

These scrub pads cleaned as well as any other scrubby, didn’t get smelly and didn’t shed plastic waste as they got older. The only difference I noted was it’s harder to build up suds. I’m happy with the trade off given that these are just plant fibers sewn into a pad and not a lot of plastic.

Tried these for my dishes and I don’t have the disgusting smell of the regular sponges when I use this one . I have completed stopped using the old type of sponge. This dish sponge does not have the odor and it last longer for me. Happy I made the switch to these !

THE VERY BEST DISH SPONGE ON THE MARKET! They give off a good amount of suds and dont really get smelly since you are able to fully rinse soap from them and they completely dry in an hour or two.. This is amazing since with regular sponges, soap and water is usually always left behind and they start to smell. I initially purchased these because i wanted to ditch the traditional plastic sponges that are filling land fills. I ended up falling in love with these sponges, they function much better than any other sponge and have a longer lifespan as well! Fyi they do come apart slightly, but after using a single one for months it is still in one piece and excellent condition!

I use these to clean my stainless steel kitchen sink. They have just enough scrub to work without scratching. They’re holding up better than I’d expected for natural fibers, and I’m much happier using them than something synthetic from a big corporation.

These actually work better than my plastic sponge. They poof up once you start using them and scrub away grime and grease wonderfully. They work better than my other sponges on my cast iron and stainless steel pans, which is a plus as I’m trying to get away from dangerous PFAS chemicals in non-stick pans

These are as effective and efficient as the other original sponges ones (that prolly take hundreds of years to compost!

I’ve been using these sponges a little over a year and have no plans to stop. I kept reading about how unhygienic traditional sponges were due to them not ever fully drying out, which was putting me in a cycle of tossing my sponge often but also feeling like a wasteful jerk. I figured I’d try these since they’re compostable. I wasn’t sure at first – it felt a bit rough on my hands and as others have mentioned they get food stuck in the fibers if you’re dealing with lots of “food scrubbing”. However the sponge will soften up pretty quickly, and I figured out a process that works for me (using a dish brush first for food scrubbage, working dish soap into the sponge, then washing). Once done and hung up the sponge dries super quickly and never gets smelly. These don’t last forever, mine last about 3 months before they start falling apart (which is still significantly longer than traditional sponges lasted me). My only complaint is that my second order of sponges are slightly different from my first, my first batch had a tag and a different hanging loop – I attached a pic of the different sponges. I preferred the feel of the first batch as it was a little softer. That being said I’m still happy enough with the new batch to continue using.
